Happy Birthday, Mark Twain.

Doodle. Today’s Google Doodle pays homage to American icon Mark Twain, featuring the famous white picket fence painting scene from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Twain, born Samuel Clemens, was born 176 years ago today in Missouri. My family’s favorite vacation spot is Twain’s house in Connecticut — located right next door to Harriet Beecher Stowe’s house! I highly recommend. Also recommended is this site showing the other doodles throughout the year.
